PROJECT MOVE - PROMOTIONAL VIDEOS CALL FOR QUOTATIONS

Malta Paralympic Committee is seeking quotes for the production of videos for PROJECT MOVE.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

You are kindly requested to provide a quotation for the production of x 3 videos of up to 60 seconds per video. Your fee quotation should be a capped or fixed fee, and should include:

• total fee (exclusive and inclusive of VAT)

• filming and editing time hourly rates

• assumes production of videos in both landscape and portrait (reel) format, with captions

VIDEO CONTENT:

Video 1 Indoor Rowing and Strength & Conditioning - Athlete Spotlight (females)	Location: Dar Tal-Providenza Indoor Sports Hall, Siġġiewi. Athletes: two female athletes with physical disabilities (likely that one will be an amputee and one with spina bifida). Content: action shots using indoor rowing equipment and cardiovascular or strength and conditioning equipment, together with interview-style questions facing the camera. Theme/Storyline: getting to know the athletes, their disabilities and how they got into sport; what it means to be part of the Paralympic Sport community and a member of an inclusive sports club; their typical training regime; the benefits of the DTP gym and the equipment available; how Paralympic Sport has shaped the athletes’ life; and the athletes’ message to other persons with disabilities

Content: action shots using indoor rowing equipment and cardiovascular or strength and conditioning equipment, together with interview-style questions facing the camera. Theme/Storyline: getting to know the athletes, their disabilities and how they got into sport; what it means to be part of the Paralympic Sport community and a member of an inclusive sports club; their typical training regime; the benefits of the DTP gym and the equipment available; how Paralympic Sport has shaped the athletes’ life; and the athletes’ message to other persons with disabilities.
Video 3 Coaches’ perspective	Location: Dar Tal-Providenza Indoor Sports Hall, Siġġiewi. Content: up to x 2 coaches/volunteers, interview-style questions facing the camera, together with background footage with coaches delivering a training session. Theme/Storyline: positive experience coaching athletes with disabilities; how training differs from that of able-bodied athletes; the benefits of the DTP gym and the equipment available; what it means to be part of the Paralympic Sport community and a member of an inclusive sports club; and coaches’ advice to other coaches/clubs.
Common requirements to all videos	Script for interview questions: MPC will provide main script for interview questions. MPC personnel will be on-site during filming. Microphones: clip-on microphones (not hand-held microphones). Language/captions: athlete/coach to choose preferred language for interview and captions should be in opposite language (i.e., if interviewed in English, captions in Maltese, and vice-versa). Invoicing	The successful bidder will be requested to raise an invoice upon project completion, which should include: bank account and payment details (payable in € by bank transfer only, no cash payments) valid VAT number (if applicable)

 KEY DEADLINES:

Submission of quotation	18:00 CET on Friday 17th January 2025.
Filming	Between Monday 20th January 2025 - Friday 7th February 2025.
Final videos ready	Monday 17th February 2025.

PROJECT MOVE

PROJECT MOVE is a grassroots campaign aimed at motivating individuals to get moving through Paralympic Sport. Malta Paralympic Committee recognises that sports may be daunting for some, with many struggling to figure out how to get started, who to speak to and generally how to live a healthy lifestyle through sport. This challenge is felt more acutely in the case of Para Sport (that is, sport for individuals with a physical or visual impairment, whether acquired at birth, suffering an accident, or over time), with such individuals typically facing unique barriers to meaningful participation in society and sport.

PROJECT MOVE revolves around the central theme of movement through sport, promoting sports and fitness as a means of bringing together communities, improving our physical and social well-being, promoting inclusion and independent living, and more. PROJECT MOVE aims to inspire both all individuals, regardless of whether they have a disability (permanent or temporary) or otherwise, to become ambassadors of sports as a pathway to enjoying a better quality of life.

In addition, Project MOVE is a legacy impact initiative following Malta’s participation at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The Games are a unique opportunity to inspire a nation, empower persons with disabilities through sport, and foster a more inclusive society in Malta.
