Para athlete Bradley Zerafa climbs up the Para Darts rankings

Updated: Oct 11, 2025

Maltese Para athlete Bradley Zerafa continued to climb up the Para Darts world rankings following a series of positive results obtained at international competitions organised by World Para Darts.

As at the end of July 2025, Bradley Zerafa, who competes in the wheelchair sitting category, rose to 5th place in the world rankings, out of a total of 63 competitors worldwide.

Accumulating 364 points across the 2024/2025 season, Bradley competed in a total of 10 international tournaments and across 5 events sanctioned by World Para Darts, the official organisation for Para Darts worldwide, including competitions in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Hungary and Belgium. Bradley placed three times as runner-up and once as joint 3rd place.

Malta Paralympic Committee (MPC) congratulated Bradley Zerafa on his achievements, noting that the results cement Bradley’s placing in the international Para Darts world rankings and builds on the consistency and gradual but notable seasonable improvements, marking the first time that Bradley broke into the top 5 after having previously made it into the top 10.

Bradley’s results have earned him a qualification slot at this year’s World Masters and World Championships as part of the WDF Darts Festival 2025 which will be held in Budapest, Hungary this October. The World Para Darts rankings for the 2024/2025 season in the wheelchair category can be viewed on https://www.worldparadarts.com.

Bradley Zerafa's participation in international World Para Darts sanctioned events was made possible thanks to the support provided via the SportMalta International Participation Scheme. MPC expresses its gratitude towards SportMalta for its continued to support offered to Para Athletes via this scheme - a true commitment to our ethos of Inclusion meets Excellence, offering athletes with disabilities with an opportunity to represent Malta in overseas competitions.
