Call for Quotations - Equipment for Muscle Building and Strengthening Exercises (VOPS A4.04.2024 - Powering through Life)

Malta Paralympic Committee (VO/1616) needs the QUOTES FOR BUYING of the following items of equipment for muscle building and strengthening exercises:
Item 1: Leg Press
| 45 degrees Linear Leg Press, as shown in the generic image in Annex I, of heavy-duty built weighing at least 200 kg which will permit loading with standard Olympic plates up to at least 300 kg. |
Item 2: Multi Station Gym
| having the following stations at a minimum:
as generically defined for illustration purposes in Annex I.
The multi station gym should be similar in construction and design to those typically seen in commercial gyms, built of durable and sturdy construction with high-quality materials to ensure stability and longevity, even under heavy use. Steel hollow section cross-section having a minimum of 2.5mm thickness. Cables should be (stainless and galvanised) steel wire rope, nylon-coated of minimum 4 mm thickness.
Features: The machine, include the stacked weights (5 x 100kg) should weigh a minimum of 700kg. Different users need to be able to work simultaneously where at least one lateral pulldown, one seated row, one triceps pull-down and one cable cross-over can be used independently by multiple users at the same time by different athletes without interference. Added features such as chin up bars, etc. are welcome so as to maximize workout potential with the minimum space requirements.

This call for quotations is being made pursuant to VOPS A4.04.2024 project ‘Powering through Life’. Equipment is to be delivered to Dar tal-Providenza Gym, Siġġiewi Malta.
Submissions are to be sent by email to info@paralympic.mt by 12:00 CET on Wednesday 30 April 2025.
